A group of RCSA students traveled to Tallahassee for an educational visit to the Florida State Capitol. During the trip, students met elected representatives, toured government offices, and learned more about Florida’s legislative process.
Representing RCSA at the State Capitol
On Tuesday, April 2nd, a group of 7 of our students went to Tallahassee to visit the Capitol. We would like to thank Senator Aaron Bean for hosting us while we were there, meeting with us, and giving us a tour of the Senate. The students were also able to meet one on one with Representative Rep Reggie Fullwood-, Rep Ronald "Doc" Renuart, Rep Daniel Davis, Rep Janet Adkins, Rep Lake Ray, Rep Mia Jones , Rep Charles McBurney, shake hands with them and have wonderful photo opportunities.
During their visit, they were invited to a session of the House of Representatives where they were recognized for the great efforts and accomplishments of our School. Representative Rep Lake Ray, Rep Reggie Fullwood-, Rep Ronald "Doc" Renuart, Rep Daniel Davis, Rep Janet Adkins, Rep Mia Jones , Rep Charles McBurney called them out and they stood so the other Representatives could see them and show their support with their hand claps.
