I’ve been attending RCSA since I was in 6th grade, now I am a senior and I can say the school is amazing. The staff really is one of the best aspects of the school since it feels although we live in a time where teaching as a profession is as unpopular as ever. Our teachers really feel as if they love being here day in and day out. Also the diversity here at the school is one of a kind, I interact with someone from every corner of the world every single day.

Very good for stem interested students. No arts or music programs or sports however. Very good opportunities if students get involved in clubs.

The teachers are really personable and have taught me so many new things in fun ways. I am able to get my AA degree in high school allowing me to be ahead in college and there are many academic programs to benefit students planning to go to college.

My son and I have had a great experience with River City Science Academy. The community is supportive and engaged. The teachers are attentive and responsive. My son has the support he needs to succeed in class and extracurricular activities. RCSA welcomes families to participate in their students' education.

The administration and teachers are very caring and dedicated to the students. The curriculum is challenging but meaningful. If your child is lucky enough to get in, you will find your child among the best and brightest in Duval. My child is very happy at River City Science Academy and has made a great group of new friends. The whole idea of middle school can be a bit daunting (and even a little scary!), but all of our worries were laid to rest once our child started at this truly amazing school. I came to this school in 9th grade in the midst of the Covid 19 pandemic, and I did online school which was not terrible and I got all A's. In 10th grade I came to the actual school and I was welcomed by everyone and had a great time, I went to multiple clubs and many school activities and had a very fun time. Currently I am a Junior and although this year has been a little stressful I am still having a lot of fun. This school is a small school, being a small school doesn't make it any less important. It is actually easier for students to get more help RCSA also offers after school tutoring and fun clubs! RCSA is now expanding making more campuses and it is a great school with great programs. I absolutely love this school. It is very welcoming to all ethnicities and the staff is willing to always talk with you. I recommend this school 100% at this school between the academics and socially. I love my school. I love everything about it. I have been going to this school since Kindergarten. I am very pleased about the people, education, and curriculum. One thing I’d want to change would be to expand my school even bigger, so more people can attend it.

RCSA is STEM school and doesn't have many sports, so if sports are your interest then this wouldn't be the school for you. The Academics are strong and the teachers push you to do your best. The school encourages students to participate on the Science Olympiad team and science fair projects along with many other after school clubs.

A very nice school with little to no drama. Has amazing programs that will help prepare your child for college and the outside world. Excellent teachers that will help in any situation. The only downside is that there is no arts programs or many sports programs.
